Right where I want to be.
I could give my wife a hundred pens, and I swear they'd all disappear in less than a week.
At that point, my stash starts unappearing.
    I like t-shirts.....and jeans.

My wife buys food and never uses a lot of it. In fact, she often doesn't put it away. Her parents lost everything in the depression and had to start all over. They hoarded food long after that. I'll bag stuff up and give it away.
I'll not complain about it. I buy tools and such that never get used. Seeds and plants that never get planted. Stuff for projects waiting to be done.

My pen died yesterday. Nothing special, just a gel roller pen. I KNOW I've had it since last fall. Not a few months ago, but a year and a few months ago. I lost it once, but a customer had it for me when I was there a few days later with the next delivery.

I stay in a hotel two nights a week. I have an amazing collection of pens, note pads, soap, shampoo, conditioner (I have no hair), lotion, tissues. Some of the hotels have pretty nice, name brand toiletries, but I've been at Choice hotels for the last year or so and none of them have good stuff. But the rewards points rock.

My wife hoards a few essential oils. She could make a dung pile smell like a rose garden.

During the holidays, she put peppermint oil on the filter bag of our old vacuum. Everytime it ran, it smelled like an elf farted.

Toiletries. I was looking for deodorant one time in the box of "stuff" in the bathroom closet. No deodorant, but 13 tubes of toothpaste.

I hoard wood of all types. Firewood, kindling, lumber, old furniture and old bottles. It will all have a purpose someday.

Also hammers, can't get enough hammers. Especially ball peens.

Wife gives me heck about being a hoarder but an organized hoarder. That and note pads and pens n pencils. Ask her and she will list more ask me and she is a throw away freak or a put stuff away in places that make no sense...ie my level lost for 2 years in the back corner of the upstairs closet:loco: :headbang::mad:

We are the opposite here, drives me crazy

I should say though he brought home a 6 pack of bic pens for me tonight, only bold points he could find were multi colors, so I bet these will last longer than black/blue ink pens:banana:

The ironic piece to the pens?, we ran an office supply company together for almost 20 years and had pens coming out of our ears

I think wildwest was eluding to fact that her husband steals the stuff from her. I have every "fur, fish and game" and backwoodsman magazine since I started subscribing. I do go back and read them from time to time. Got a lot of knives and a lot of random stuff as the wife calls it.

I was using the word loosely :)

And yes, jetjr is correct, he raids my stashes of the above items   but he does not steal from stores lol.

However if there is a booth set up I will stop just to get the notepad and pen that have their logo and have no care for what they are pushing. I have a pad and paper to feed that troll in the garage that eats my pens and paper every time I need them and they were free.

Our lil troll just ate the last of a logo mini note pad tonight, tore out the remaining 3 pages and armed with a new pen that hubby brought home tonight

BTW, I have been using lists more and more the last few years LOL.
