I've been slacking on the wood pile, spending took much time in the shop that is heated by WOOD. Radiant floor heat is the way to go. Spent some of yesterday & today "doin wood". I don't know why, but for some reason, I sure enjoy your dumb pics, so here's some of my dumb pics, I took 'em just for you
Looks kinda slick on your path there. Might need to invest in a set of chains for your hooves so you don't slip.
Look close, there's a dozen sheet metal screws in that boot! Still had to be careful, especially on the sawdust.
Great idea! I bought some slip on ice cleat soles several years ago but have never taken them out of the package
Now that ya point it out I see them. I have a set of elastic black slip over cleats that work great. Do you notice the screws pulling cold up into the soles of the boot?
Nice work getting out there in not so great conditions. Love your "log holder". That has to make bucking a lot easier!!
Yeah Sav. their like ice magnets. I'd like a set for the rear but @ $1400, I'm waiting to come across a used set
Started laughing as soon as I saw the pics of your soles! Hey, ya can't argue with success! I wonder what your wife would have thought if she showed up while you were using the drill putting screws into the bottoms of your boots!
fuelrod, Do you have/use a boiler or do you just buck wood like in Euro land, double length and then cut it in 1/2 later? Those bucked piece look 3' long ?
