    A whole lot easier to stand the splitter up and then not have to lift the logs. It saves work and saves the back too.

    Well up to two weeks ago I didn't have a splitter that went vertical I have two other spitters one is a old ford splitter really tall one too it needs a bunch of work never really worked that well. The other the pump went out on a couple weeks ago so I bought another one so I could make some modifications to the old one and have two splitters if one ever goes down.
