It's warm today, gonna put the chains on the tractor and move some wood around. Maybe the wife and I will strap on the snow shoes! All you nice people have a great day. :campfire:

Very wet and windy this morning. Got up early and put a lamb leg in the slow cooker. Instead of going for my morning walk, I think I will crawl back into bed next to my warm husband and three warm dogs.

Well, didn't get to crawl back into bed as warm husband and dogs got up looking for breakfast. Instead after breakfast, I get to clean bathrooms. then I will go and play in my sewing room and try not to get lost.

Just got back from a trip to Auburn (1/2 hr). We turned around right at the entrance to the store and came home. It had started raining and my outside temp was reading 31. This was supposed to hold off til 3 or so... :headbang: Glad we're home anyway. Just had a bucket of m'honey's veg/beef barley soup... mmmmmmmmm... :D That rain is now here... ugh.

Changed the erl in the wife's van, cleaned up the workbench in the garage (couldn't find the bulb for the turn signal), got some wood in, feed the animals, started cutting the wedges off my log splitter and then the rain started. I fixing lunch for me and the 2 youngest while the wife and oldest went to the store. Might just spend the rest of the day with them all.

The guy that made the splitter used regular wedges to make a 4way. I think this causes it to jam up against the rail sometimes. Gonna weld plate steel wings on instead. No new pics cause I don't carry my phone a lot of times when messing around like that.

I have bills done, paid or scheduled to go out, and husband is replacing a toilet. Woo hoo! We should save like 4 gallons per flush, and the old one was really ugly. New one is white and shiny, one of the best on consumer reports :)

Been a slow weekend here. Kids sick... First Joey and now Juliet... both have a really bad cough but we took Joey in last week and they ended up doing an x-ray because his o2 was a little low, but his lungs are clear... just a bad virus.

Anyway we did get out yesterday to try out a new Diner that opened in the old train 19th century station building in Framingham. cool decor I had an awesome Turkey club. Sitting around today watching movies with the kids... wife is baking a treat for the Pats game tonight.

I noticed that half my office called out tomorrow since schools are closed (*cough* will be hungover from pats game *cough*) . May just take it off myself and go hit my usual hangout.

The new fish tank has been mezmerizing the kids all weekend... kids want more fish but we have to wait... now its clouding up form the bacteria bloom as they are getting established.

haha funny ^^^^ I had to fix our toilet this weekend too. flush valve broke and its a Kohler with that oddball cartridge setup I had to hunt around for the part. At least it was a 5 min fix when I found it. Not fun to have potty problems in a one hole household with kids !!

and i had to fix the garage door opener too. When it was really cold out it jammed against the open limit stop bolt ... All I had to do was back it off by hand and reset the travel limit adjusters but cant figure out how it worked at all for the last XX years....
