Went to the basement to get some groceries. Canned deer, canned assorted veggies and canned whole mators. Got the old pot out that is older than Moses and has seen all 50 states and 2 continents. Mix every thing up and on the stove it goes. Now for a little after dinner wine that was made by a friend down the road and I GARUNTEE you could run a chainsaw on this stuff!
What no sammich to go with it. We must gone to the same English classes. I noticed in another thread you referred to it as terlit as well.
Spell check is just another means for the masses to keep us smart guys down. Now I gotta go check on the far in the stove.
It's really bad when using a phone that keeps correcting you. Darn thing thinks it's smarter than me.
Looking good. I have a few gallons of turkey stock in the freezer. One of them will be out today simmering for a bit. A crusty bread will be in order to go along with it.
Used a ham bone to make some stew/soup.. Nearly the same recipe as last year. Ham Stock (from our Christmas ham). Ham Potatoes Celery Onion Garlic Carrots Whipping Cream (last year was cream cheese).. And of course Bacon.. Could feel my arteries clogging with the first spoonful!!
I'll honestly say I have never heard of using ham stock outside of pea soup. It sounds like a good recipe.
It is very rich. Worthy of being served to loggers in a turn of the century camp in northern Maine. Can't decide if I prefer the whipping cream or cream cheese.
