    Hey fellas,

Hot tip on Forester chaps at my favorite store, Menards. $39.99 each, they have 2 sizes. I have the larger (40"?) ones and they're perfect.
I'm 6' and they cover my shoes. Keep the chips out of your boots too.
Only on sale until Sunday so get em quick!!!

Screenshot_2015-01-16-18-01-14.png I'm glad I got them, I've had some near misses and had a buddy get stitches in his knee, that was the tipping point for me.

If anyone really wants a pair and doesn't have a store nearby, I could fix you up but you'd have to pay shipping plus MI 6% tax, so maybe $50 depending on your location.

Thanks for the heads up, my wife was wanting to run to town today anyway. She will be all for it, save money, and protect me!

Not only the protection, but as you can see your dog will like you better when you wear 'em.

Plus you get to browse around menards and buy more junk that you don't really need.

    It's a win-win.:D

That's a great price! I really need to get a pair of chaps and the helmet system too.. They will more than pay for themselves the 1st time they come into play.. Too bad there aren't any Menards around here.. I read the Labonville chaps are excellent and saw the video demonstrating how effective they are.. Pretty impressed!

They're back to $54.99 now, which isn't quite a deal. I haven't looked at the labonville chaps but I've also heard that they're the best.

Next up for ppe I'm looking into a hardhat/shield combo. Wondering which one is the best/lightest? Guess I'll have to do some research.

Yep, I was just at Menard's today. 55, or 60 now But 11% rebate now. I passed on them. Bought bar oil 6.50 a gallon, a bar sprocket greaser, some potted plant water saucers, and some 10w/40 for the dirt bike for the wife to learn on, and for me to do wheelies around the yard. :).

Good quality and not really heavy. Only two things I can complain about, leg buckles are on backwards and are difficult to since up (just need to turn them around) and they are not made for skinny guys. I wear a size 32 waist jeans and even with bibs on I've got the waist since as far as it will go and are not even close to tight on me, but comfortable and don't fall off. I'll need to look into something else for warm weather cutting. It should be noted I bought the tall size for the length so that might be why the waist is big on me.
