That is going to suck for the new stove owner. Only getting half a stove an all.

If there is a front PTO on that puppy maybe someone could use it as a snow blower:whistle:. Someone that is in a snow belt like jtakeman for instance.

No idea. I just pulled that image from on line. I was hoping jetjr was going to trade me a bunch of beer and a really nice, useful old walk behind tractor like that one. He offered me a nice walk behind tractor in his post.? Apparently not.:(

Its not as nice nor is it much fun to run sometimes. Especially without reverse. They are neat machines and had a bunch of attachments I think even a cord wood or slab wood type saw, not sure 100% on that but you could run a sickle bar mower off a pulley on the motor. I have a one bottom plow, cultivator and disk with mine.

I want it but it's just a bit far and shipping would be to much
I would love to have one in my basement and keep watching CL but haven't had luck yet as they all look like junk around me. I am sure it will sell eventually or you could snatch up one of the excellent offers in this thread:thumbs::pete:

They remind of a powerful, heavy snow blower, except that you can put different attachments on them. (COOL!) My father use to have an old, powerful, heavy John Deere snow blower. The thing was a brute. But I loved running it when I could as a young guy. Then years later, after I was out on my own he bought a new blower. And at the advice of one of my brothers, he bought a Honda. It is newer, lightweight, and powerful. And I love going over to his house and running it for him when I can as the young guy I still am. :p

Hmmmm. That would be a full day of travel for both of us to meet half way and drive back home. For me, about $120 in gas. Yikes. Dam, to bad we couldn't work something out. Buffalo would be close to half way. Ya, your probably right. Too far. Gotta any really nice saws you want to trade?

This stove sells for $800 with chimney and OAK.

I also have some softwood pellets if the buyer is interested. But I can burn those in a little at a time my gasifier with a deep bed of coals as well! Good heat!

This may unfortunately be true. I have sold several dozen Quad's that I cleaned and threw parts at for less than half what they are worth brand new. The shipping is what will really kill it when it comes down to it unless you find somebody close. I'd take it but I have a good stove that's fairly new.

    Gas,

Remove it, clean it up really well, shrink wrap it and save it for your old age when the wood becomes too much work for you.

Oh I will probably have to just keep dealing with it. Just seems to be a pain. They are so much more picky about being clean. A cordwood woodstove is sooooo much easier. But, like I said, it would be different if I was there all the time. And we have talked about moving down there permanently some year. Build an addition on to the camp, move down there and rent the house out we live in now. Or sell it. But we don't really want to lose control of the house either. We will see. Lots to consider.
