I thought I'd throw up some wood stack pics just for the fun of it :axe:

This first one is all red oak and chestnut oak, two rows deep...

next up is oak, walnut, ash, and who knows what else, mixed...

then comes more ash, and some other stuff mixed in...

what we have here is walnut, some locust, cherry, and on top is mulberry...

the right side stack is all elm, left side is elm, and some cherry...

this right here is all elm and cherry...

left side here is boxelder (with fresh walnut chunks on top), right side is white oak...

this right here is a single row of all black walnut...

here you have 2 rows, all walnut on bottom, topped with some oak, hickory, and some red cedar mixed in...

I operate a stihl 270, a craftsman for backup, ford 1620 with/fel, 6 ft deck, 6 ft grader blade, and 3 pt. splitter, fiskars, sledgehammers, mauls, wedges, chains, ropes, and other various and sundry equipment :D

btw, I ain't sure if I'm a wood hoarder or not, you guys'll have to let me know

You definitely have hoarding issues. Your stack are well set. I notice some rounds in your stacks too, and they should make for a long overnight fire. Beautiful job there. You are officially a "FACTORY" firewood hoarder!!!

J/K of course. Very nice stacks.
Pretty sure the rules state that you have to count your own firewood.:confused:

It's a beautiful site to behold. Almost makes you not want to mess them up by using them up.

I saw a rocking chair on the porch. I assume it is for looks, as you have never gad a chance to sit in it.
That is among the most impressive stacks I have ever had the pleasure to see.
Thanks for sharing. Would like to see other pics around your place.

Oh yes, that rocker gets me in it from time to time, with the field glasses, but you're right, not too often.

Not that there's anything wrong with that! :)

Seriously, one never knows when an injury could lay you up for a season and you might fall behind. I mean just because your paranoid, doesn't mean they're not out to get ya! :D
