Why were you babysitting a generator? Who lost power? What were you up to slvrblkk? Please explain? Curious.

lol...I'm a facilities tech for a cable/telecom company...I'm in charge of all generator, ups, fire suppression systems, HVAC, etc. at all of my hubsites in PA and NJ. This particular one is on Broad St. in Philadelphia. Our landlord was doing a commercial power upgrade where we were going to be on generator for up to 24 hours. Wound up only taking 11. This site has all of our cable modem traffic and long distance cross connects that run through it (major site for us). Anyway, I had to be on site in case something "sh!t the bed" so to speak. lol

    Here ya go

There's the feeder just above him. He managed to empty it without tearing down....this time

    1-DSC00601.JPG

And what he did to the other feeders.....I must have lost 10-15 suet feeders to bear, that's why I buy the cheap ones now

That is not me. I like sausage platters and a good brew or a seafood platter and a good brew. Not suet and bird seed.

Got some good news today. The local electric utility company has been warning for months that our rates were going to go up 30-40% in March. Today they announced that because of the dropping oil and natural gas prices, we're going to see a 13% decrease in March!:dancer::cheers::thumbs:

We are due, almost overdue. Dear husband forgot to bring the ash vac home. Currently letting the burn out to empty ash tray, scrape, sweep. Deep clean due Friday, temps should be tolerable.

Hmmm, ash tray empty and burn pot scrapped, a bit over 1 ton burned. Anxious for Friday detail cleaning including exhaust pipe.

  Husband used the slurry rubbermaid tote I was desperate for when he took the lil one traveling.

On Sunday I was going to do a quick firebox cleaning, but one thing lead to another and the weather was warm (28 degrees feels warm these days) and I resulted in my first deep clean of the season including exhaust piping-lint eater and all. A few hours later and all was back up and warming the house again. :)
