Thank you all very much! We made our journey to Wisconsin now things need to get done...Trust me when I say that we have really felt the prayers and comfort. My Mother in-law did not suffer so that was a blessing! We now just have to keep my Father in-law occupied, they were together over 65 years, He is tough and is doing well so just keeping him focused is the main thing.. Again, Thank you all very much for all the thoughts and prayers!!! I am so proud be a part of this forum because of all of you and the great folks you all are!

Take care WeldrDave . I hope your FIL finds comfort going forward. 65 years together... what an amazing thing. Good luck with the many details that have to be done.

Hello all! First and for most, THANK YOU ALL! for your Prayers, support and comforting words for our situation. This is truly the "Greatest" bunch of folks on the planet! :). We got back to NJ this morning, we drove straight about 21 hours. We were in a city called LaCrosse, Wi. It's right on the Mississippi river, about 80 miles down stream from Minniapolis and "DAM" cold!:shiver:… We had one day where our "HIGH" was -17.

A brief insite of things; My Father in-law is holding up well considering… Its hard to be 88 years old, live in a 120 year old home, "two" story and no partner so we not only had to make all the arrangements for Ma's funeral but make arrangements for him to stay in his home as well. As some reading this can understand, "he will not leave"!!!! He is very insistent on that. All in all he is mobile, just slow, but a little unbalanced at times. We have several people from the area, Church, and neighbors checking in on him regularly. Back in the day, and up until he was about 80, he was an "AVID" bow hunter and built his own long bows. He worked 33 years for a company called Outers sporting goods and designed a lot of their stuff as well. He has several jigs for his hobby and he said he's going to get back into his hobby now that he has time, I helped him drag stuff out so I hope this keeps him occupied.

My Mother in-law didn't suffer and went peacefully and quick, That alone brings comfort.

Again, you are all the Greatest bunch! Thanks for the Prayers and thoughts!

    Dave:)
