,Seriesiii109 and I are meeting at 0800 at the first brush collection site Saturday, I'm hoping the (1) log splitter was returned Friday evening and available for my use Saturday morning. Saw selection will be an AV026?, MS250, 044 Mag, Earthquake 45, pics to follow later tomorrow. I'm drinking a Russian Imperial Stout homebrew from seriesiii109's private reserve, drinking at room temp.
I did a drive by late this evening on collection site #1, might need the choke set and chain to drag some wood from out of the pile.
Well it's over for today, 9 hours of hoarding related cutting/splitting. It was mid teens early this morning with a stiff Texas Panhandle wind. No injuries/accidents to report and we yielded 1.5 trailers of wood. The selected pieces in pic #8 will be made into bowls by seriesiii109.

Yup, a few of the large pieces had guide wire/cable etc in one end and out the other. I think I can get the city to place a pile of rounds outside the pile.

I think cutting and splitting at the brush site worked out best, nothing to clean up at the shop. I still need to improve my wood storage.
Nice haul! Uni, you get cold enough weather to burn often in tx? My brother used to live in Lubbok, and I do remember it getting cold at night, and hot in the day. Weird weather...
You got a fine score of wood, Unicorn1. That splitter looks like it could have sheared apart the rounds instead of using saws for bucking. What a beast.
