We became avid followers of the Berry College Eagle nest cam last year. We followed the birth to fledge of a female eaglet. This is the third year for this mated pair to breed and raise from the nest located on the Berry Campus in Rome Georgia. This amassed a following of over 4 million viewers last year. This year there are 2 nest cams, one with sound and also an approach cam from the ground. These cameras are infa red and run 24/7. Tonight @ approx. 5 p.m, the female has laid her first egg. I use to watch the one in Virginia all the time. The female got hit by a airplane because the setup was close to the airport and they stopped doing the live feed. There's a pair of falcons that have taken up residence in downtown Harrisburg. The DEP has cameras set up so folks can watch the development from hatching to flight. I remember watching a can somewhere a couple years ago. Didn't know Berry had one, they're only about 2 hours north of me. Probably the most beautiful college campus I've ever seen
