Yep, that looks MUCH better to me! I'd aso like to see the legs straightened, instead of the rounded arch between the legs, just sqaure it off.

    Here's Lorin's comments:

    Hi Brian,

Attached are two images of a no frills Ideal Steel Hybrid in all black.
The Fleur de Lis andirons were in the stove, but a customer could have a very basic andiron. I left the stone exposed on the side, but again this could go away and one could have a solid steel leg, no cut out.
Keep in mind all black does can be hard to represent well, and in order to see any difference from one part to another, we had to light the image making the black appear more like a dark grey.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks,
    Lorin

The beauty of the Ideal Steel stove is that it is infinitely customizable. The leg fender isn't a structural part, making slight changes quite easy. It's a matter of revising a file and cutting a custom set. So, if one really wanted a straight cut instead of an arch, we could do that without much difficulty.
Sorry papadave, the door handle stays on the wrong side!

Silly is in the eye of the beholder. And if I told my wife and daughter I was parking a BKK in my living room, I'd be divorced and dispossessed.:p:popcorn:

I managed to get the vertical piece of double wall pipe cut down to fit the installation and jockeyed around the stove and hearth pad for clearances and alignment and assembled the stove pipe to the class A. I still have to secure all the pipe with stove pipe screws so despite my hopes and efforts my first fire won't happen tonight.

Thanks Tenn Dave. I'm glad it all finally came together tonight, just in time for our first temps down into the teens this weekend.

Educatin' junior on the air control. Since this one is so different from our Fireview I wanted him to actually see how the air intake physically functions. He was actually a real pro in running the Fireview, and I think he'll get up to speed quick on this one too.

Isn't the secondary hole just beyond the main air control?
