    I had -16F this morning @ 2AM. -1 right now @ 3:30 PM on it's way back down. Looks like most of the country is in the deep freeze right now…

    I had the NG furnace going last night… set the t-stat to 72F and it was kicking on and off every 15 minutes or so. The house stove I set on #3… could have gone higher but I didn't want to burn thru so many pellets.

    How are you guys doing?

    The shop stove ran out of fuel last night… filled it up and refired it about an hour ago. It was down to about 40F in there… not too bad. I fired up the LP torpedo heater to hasten the shop warm up a bit… got it to 60F before shutting that thing down.

    I'm letting the furnace kick on to help the stove. I could turn up the stove but the furnace kicking in now and then keeps the heat evened out better. Wife and I are not feeling well so this is working for us now.

    It's worth a few dollars IMHO to use the furnace if you are not feeling well. Are you improving?

    Funny that you said that Jay ,I was thinking of starting a new thread ,what are you burning now ,because this is the 1st deep freeze for us on the east coast and I was reading thru some old posts and Ray / Poolguy had a poll post about at what temps do you break out the "good stuff"
    You're a mod is there away to tie them together or should just post here in Kooser's thread ? what do you think?

    Mostly in the low 20's here through the week, and into the low teens at night.......but Wed. night supposed to get to about 1 degree. :shiver: YIKES!:bug:
