I got the pic and looks like a good start.
Also noticed a couple of Stihls and a Makita.
Should have been some good cutting.

It was great, used a kabota to pull dead logs out and had to put a break away in a dead 20 to 22 inch i think oak... Pull it with the pickup it was a dead leaner... Leanning against a live tree... Good times... The one Stihl is a 038 av with a magnam jug and piston.. The other stihl is 261 cm... The makita i dont know anything about. The makita is the brother inlaws. I just got the 261cm this year. The 038 is older then i am and was my aunt, she gave it to me when i was 14. Blah blah blah blah... Lol

Ty had some help... Need to sharpen chains now. Seems like dead ash, that has cured is really hard on my chains. Sharpen chains after some more beer :).

This is my seventh load of wood from this old White Oak, plus it made a couple of nice slabs. This load weighed 5800lbs.

Here is one of my loads from the backyard to the house...I would never go down the road with this much but the boys and I enjoy seeing how much we can get on the old ford.

You should drive it real slow with a sign. Is this what a cord of wood in a pickup looks like.

gotta love that big Doug Fir, dont know how your are getting all that loaded in the truck with out killing yourself though,
but I do know if the cops around here seen that truck driving down the road it would get pulled over for a unsecured load, not tied down enough

Grandpa always said you can't get a cord of wood on a truck. I beg to differ lol. If he was still around I would drive it to his place.

Good to see you putting those saws to work! I am about to start a collection to get you some sort of crane/ winch setup, that just looks painful.

No kidding. My back hurts just looking at these pics.

Those pictures are pretty neat though. My wife is from nor cal, went to school at Humboldt state, and butte tech (lol). We actually got married in Albion on the coast.
