I got a new bar delievered today was looking at changing over to running 3/8 on one of my 346's.After buying a rim started looking at Carlton speed tips but then seen this Sugi 18" 3/8 .050 from weedeaterman on sale only had 2 in stock.I probably would not have bought it but after recieving a 18 325 .058 on my first 346 (soon enough it will be ported Iam on the list). It just doesn't wear.
Very nice! Keep us posted on how it goes with the new bar. I've been wanting one of those for a while now
I have one that is identical other than thepitch and guage. After using it for 2 years I believe some saws could possibly wear out before the bar does.
I like your handle Hellbent reminds me of some music I used to really be into.I tell you what Hellbent I won't try to prove that Iam FASTER
I wish it was a little longer and a different gauge to fit my newly acquired 365 special Iam really jacked about this special heres a pic thats got me excited( its upside down)
I have a couple Sugi bars & they are good bars. But I like the Speed tips as good or better & are less $$.
A 20" blade is best.. lol Just ribbin.. Nice bar Poulan. That should do well on that 346. As for that 365... I had a very hard time resisting. I seen that when it was minutes old. Nice and clean 365! Congrats!
I went from a worn out 28" bar on the saw in my signature to a brand new Oregon replacement 24" bar. Night and day difference. Never thought a "BAR" could make that much difference in cutting efficiency!!! I've always been able to sharpen a chain.......................that coupled with a bar that lets the chain do its thing now......................I get aroused!!!
Sure looks like that 346XP is perched on the 357's chain brake handle don't it? Watch out Sunfish, she might roll over sideways on ya.
It was tough to get it to balance like that, but the 346 does have the best balance ya know... I don't mind a little roll over every now and then...
