I have 2 stihl bars that are both 25 inches and 3003 000 8830 Id numbers but I just noticed on the little sticker on the front of the box is marked 3003 000 8830 and then in the next box PJ and the other bar is the same number but then NE?I have the PJ marked bar on the 461 now and haven't used the NE marked bar but does anyone know the difference between the two bars?other then those letters everything seems the same between the two.
Both made in Germany and identical in every way except those 2 letters on the Id sticker on the outside of the bar box,I never noticed it until I was cleaning up some stuff yesterday and it bugged me because they're the same bar.the guy at stihl said it was basically just a production code they use when they manufacture them and that the bars are the same.
