    Good morning everyone,
Well finally found a little free time to get winch mounted on log lift. When we originally built this we went with the hand pump cylinder which works great but a little on the slow side. There is no charging system so I run it off a deep cycle battery. It is much faster and a little easier to control since you not pumping with one hand which caused the larger logs to really bounce up and down.
The painting will have to wait until warmer weather, insurance made me remove woodburner from shop:mad:

Deer season ends tomorrow so then I can get out and get more to split on it 20150101_111951.jpg

I'm really anxious to give it a good workout. I still have to fab up a battery tray so for now I keep it strapped to a two wheel cart.

Tongs yes, swivel not yet. I need to pick one up to go between tongs and cable hook.
