    I was offered one of those and other stuff for free by a friend. I was like nope not me.

    Cool for a collector, but I had no use for them.

    I've seen the same exact saw at a county fair this fall. Cool to look at and maybe cool to own if your a collector
    but I think I'd pass, looks kinda scary to run IMO...

    They really aren't all that rare. There's one here collecting dust on CL that the guy was asking $800 for for months. Good luck with that!

    When my Grandpa was logging in the 50's, 60's, and 70's, they used big old Macs and Homelites... Those were the good old days. Big timber and big saws were the norm. Now most of the loggers run 461s and 372s.

    My dad cut his firewood for years with an xp1100 Homelite. Now he's happy with an MS250.
