    I'm 33. A lot of things are foggy. My memory highways are pretty congested with creosote, ash, hops and whiskey by now but yes those are making me think a little bit lol

    I am envious you have him to learn his stories. I was also on a different thread here about shredded wheat bisquits. You and I have discussed diet between then and now, though I still love these I think it was one of the first major refined products back in the day.

    Yeah grandpas are the best. My grandpa was basically my father growing up so I learned some great things, and some things that drive others nuts lol.

    My dad served in the Vietnam war, so he has a old slide show projector with pictures of the country side of vietnam, and all the letters he wrote back and forth to my grandparents. I love history and learning about our ancestors and the past. It always amazes me. I trad ancestry.com, but most of the older generation in my family is gone, and I can not find enough back dated information.
