    Watched axe men last night,
they have a crew cutting dead standing lodge pole

Some of it is good sized trees. Much bigger than I remember in Oregon.
Not sure if they are in Wyoming or Colorado

Guy is selling it to mills. I thought it was gonna be firewood.
Wonder what lumber is made from it? Anyone know ?

All my upstairs framing (2x6 rough) is lodge, and all my overlap wood siding is the same, all cut down and sawed in the kalispell area, hauled it all down, stickered and air dried for a year.Good stuff and the best firewood in a lot of this state!Used to burn 6-7 cords a year, now I just dump bags!

The older the buck, the stiffer the horn. The older the violin, the sweeter the music.

    LOL!

I think the episode is from November? I have it set to record, but haven't gotten a new one in a bit. That is a great show still. Even if it's fake, I still like watching people drop big trees and the hillbillies pull river logs.
