12/29 02:45 am air temperature with no consideration for wind is -14º here in sunny subtropical North Dakota.
I think I'd be staying inside in a cocoon of blankets if temps were like that. Living down south all my life, I've never experienced temps below 0
Yup, and it's on the way to the good ol' U.P. I don't think we'll see the -thirty's quite yet, but we never have a winter without it! (never have a winter without the -40's for that matter living in a river valley).

I'd be sleeping on the bottom for sure. And perhaps right next to the stove. The temperature is one reason we like living where we do because the lakes tend to moderate the temperatures. Many times Wisconsin, straight west of us will be as much as 30 degrees colder than us. We don't mind though.
Same here But when Cook Inlet freezes over, then it gets cold, 30° salt water is a big heater, though it's hard to imaging 30° being warm :confused
