400 years old. Sad to see it go. But I suppose there will be trees to replace it. I do hope we don't end up cutting all the old growth on the planet though.
Does it seem like their techniques are a little different over there? Some big trees for sure and big saws.
In the second drop, I'll pass on standing right in front of the back cut as some guy is sawing at WOT - no chaps, etc. - no thanks. Big damm trees though! Cheers!
Seems there usually are problems when you have too many working on one tree. Methinks they are a bit lucky and did not seem to be concerned when the tree was falling.
