Before I headed out for a walk.
Did a "walk-a-bout" inspection around the wood stack.
    31°, snowing.

I'm surprised Hallmark hasn't reached out to Dave, his entire backyard and beyond is a Hallmark card.

Very nice! Impressive stacking. I've never had any luck free-stacking like that. I always have to have ends with braces.

I have a small stack on plastic pallets that look just like those from the side. Those things are super! They're a little slick. But, they'll never rot and can hold more weight than a firewood stack.
Wouldn't mind finding a few more to be honest.

Looks like everything is holding up really well for you Dave... :) I think your "Twin Leaning Towers" stacking method is a winner for sure.

Pretty with the snow on everything too... How about a pic sometime of the woodshed? :dancer:

You should consider getting a transit if you don't have one yet. It looks like a few pieces are off as much as a half an inch ;)

That must be intentional, part of the idyllic rugged alaskan landscape.

    Seriously picturesque as always, BD.

Split 100,302 and 153,235 are a little misaligned. Overall...good effort

After seeing the Hausen coved with snow,
it gave me an idea to try a hausen style top cover next time.

    Yea
The snow makes everything look nice & clean.
Will try to get a woodshed pic. Sun is about to clear the mtn tops.

    25° & blue sky :)
