I posted my haul in the 14 what'd you get thread, most of it was climbing gear. Got to put it to use this morning taking off a dead nub on a red oak out back Here I am up in da tree Now for the white oak out front. That things got some real dead limbs
Wheres your helmut and eye protection?? Da tree limb might hit you da head. only j/k, just thinking of the safety stuff
Definitely not! When one ages, he keeps on doing the things he enjoys, things that have do be done, etc. It is just that it takes longer. However, one also finds his strength decreasing so that does have an effect on things like climbing and rastling big rounds, etc.
Sweet! That's something I'd love to do but I'm pretty sure I'd get about six feet off the ground and that would be enough for me.. Looks like you'll get some serious use out of that gear! Congrats man!
Yep, it's been limbed a bit before. Now I can do it for free It's really not that scary up on the rope. I don't even like getting on the roof with a ladder but feel perfectly fine climbing well above my roofline on the rope. Just feels more secure I guess. Ladders are usually pretty rickety
Woodnt need all your climbing gear to trim that dead branch if that stack of btu you are climbing was layin on the ground. It is a lot easier to get at on the ground you know.
He's in Georgia wearing a short sleeve "T" shirt, the end of Dec. Not needing the BTUs as much as needing the shade LOL
Up to 31 ° here, Would love the climate you have right now , it's July thru Oct there that about kills me. (No snakes out this time of the year there, right ? )
Haven't seen any lately. Got up to around 60 today. Summers down here can be brutal for sure, although this past one wasn't too bad
