Waiting for the old lady to finish stacking wood so I can throw the next load down. So is the only one that can stand up comfortably in the basement.

Luke, I used a Canon 30D for those pics. That's not a pro camera, but it isn't a toy either. But to be honest, you can get this quality from a much less expensive camera these days, but a big part of the quality of these pics is the fact that I also am good at the software processing after the fact. That's kind of the equivalent to the old dark room in the film days. Learning how to use Adobe Digital Lightroom, or something similar will make you a hero with the internet pics.

    I try!

Just got the last load (for today) ready to go into the basement. Old lady is finishing up stacking the previous one. I think we will have two more loads after this, which will put about 2/3 of our supply down there. Already started laying pallets down in the empty space. Nice knowing that I won't have to move the maple once I get that split.

Got my 1st installment of signs in the mail today. :) There are some big Chainsaw posters wrapped up on the right. Still have a lot to move over from the Man Cave on the other side of the basement, but it's a work in progress. It's gonna be pretty cold out soon and I will be working on it everyday, here shortly.

(Nothing is in its final home. Until I move the Bar over, I don't really have a plan or layout. I want to put the bar in 2 different places, before I choose the final location. I want the bar against the only wood sided wall, so the 50" can go behind it, but need to make sure that it will "look" good. Couple pics)

Gorgeous day here on the Massachusetts/New Hampshire border. Played plumber in the AM and installed a new kitchen faucet, then got out for a short 80 mile neighborhood ride this afternoon.

Cool signs. My sister brought me home the "who cut one" sign from a trip to the upper peninsula. Mine lives right next to the "you're in Stihl territory" sign in the shop.

Sounds like you got a cool Sis :)

Here are the posters. They look different than they did on Amazon.. .. ..?? But they will do. I'm going to cut the chainsaws out and lay them under the glass top on the bar.

I love old nostalgia signs like those. I like the automotive ones, the motorcycle ones, the Stereo/Mono ones of old stereos and especially on Jazz Masters of the 50s. - also Conceet posters from the late 60s ...can't forget those.

Went to a meeting only to find out it had been cancelled. The notice didn't get delivered. Waste of time and gas. At least it got me moving early.

Someone mentioned dust the other day. Got me thinking I needed to dust off my fan and give it a little oil and also clean some of the dust bunnies off the ceiling. Needs doing couple times a year.

I have a ladder like that just for using in my foyer. Bought the step that clips on. No other way to access the fan, lights , and do the painting. I don't climb outside.

I didn't know there was a step, I'll need to check that out. It's a great ladder though, I think I paid about $300 for it a number of years ago.

Little Giant and Werner both have the step as well a a working platform that holds paint cans etc. I think I paid about $30 for the step.

Finally got the last of the wood in for winter, ended up being probably a little over half the supply. Having a mudslide and about to watch The World's End.

Made a dump run for parents and us today. Helped them move a few things into the attic and into the storage space or attic above the garage. Then moved a few things around at the house and then tried to get tractor started. :zip:
