Hmmm. I only have my I-phone, which I think I could do a short one with it. I will see what I can do the next time I'm cutting. Prolly won't be till Friday or Saturday.

Well it is sorta like when your in heaven and all you have to do is cut wood when you feel like it. Sit by a cozy fire when you want and watch the flames with your favorite drink, and just do whatever the hell ya like whenever the hell ya want. I hope you take one sometime soon IS! I know I needed a break from work. Battery recharge/mental health break.

Pallet Pete I forgot to tell you. They had every Echo saw in stock at the dealer I went to. And they were a small dealership.

And my local saw dealer had none. :( I called them and asked how soon they could get me one and they said it would probably take them 7-14 days to get me an Echo.

Who said what in the where now?

I said, "Really? 7-14 days?" W.T. ? The guy at the Echo dealer where I bought it got to talking with me and asked me where I was from and I told him and told him what they said. He said, "Really? 7-14 days?" I said yup. That's what they said. He said they should be able to get you one in two, maybe three days. That's what I thought.

Anywho. He had the smallest all the way up to the CS800. That was tempting. But is was another $200+. Nope. This one is big enough for now. LOL
I almost went with a 24" bar. But I listened to what he said while I was talking with him and then asked him some questions. He is cutting a lot of Pine on his property, most bigger than mine. He runs this same saw and runs up to a 32" on it.o_O But when I put the 20" up to me and held the saw I thought the 24" would be too long most of the time. (I'm only 5'-9"). So I stuck with the 20" that was on it.

She told me she wants me to help her start cleaning and fixing up the basement over vacation. Tired of looking at it. :picard:
That means the time of cutting of trees will be going down. :(

Nice saw, enjoy it. Echo makes nice reliable saws, my buddy owns a few and he swears by them.

Congrats Gas!! As for break in, just run it.. Keep it a full throttle (partial throttle, is not recommended) when in the cut :)

And keep us updated and a good review after you've spent some quality time with it.

On the side of your carb will be two adjustment screws labeled H and L for the fuel and air. You can look in the side with a flashlight and see if there are two plastic caps. There probably is.... EPA regs make the saw companies install them they force your saw to run lean. Believe me echo carbs hate that after a year or so. I pull them out with needle nose pliers and trim the little side tabs off then stick them back in. Once you do that you can adjust the fuel and air and it will allow the saw to run properly and you will discover it's got more power too...
