You can see it but there's quite a bit in the truck too.

Is that truck set up for wood cutting or is it used for your work? I'd love a dedicated utility bed wood hauler. Lots of storage for saws, oil, gas, etc

It's my work truck. One of the benifits of the job. I have to write off personal miles every year and pay fuel for personsl stuff. I only use it occasionally because the hemi is hungry. Got 8mpg in this trip, all highway

That is Douglass Fir, think its about 30" from the bed to top of cab, so that gives you an idea, luckily Fir is a softwood and not as heavy dense as all those hardwoods out east, otherwise truck would not of carried all that . Fir still puts out some decent heat however. the other pic is big leaf maple, ( think east coast silver maple)

Almost a cord in a hour with a co-worker. I was cutting and he was splitting with a maul. A ported saw definitely cuts faster so you'll have more time for beer.

That's awesome! My Dad use to let me drive a little in the woods when I was the same age...and take a few sips of Budweiser after the truck was loaded.

Nice looking load man! What kind of wood do you have there? It's tough to tell with the rain and some of it looks barkless. Ash?

How difficult is a conversion like that? I have an '89 C3500 that could be even more awesome if it was 4x4.
