Started my winter cutting a little early this year. Went out back and cut down three dead standing Red Oak . These are the last of the dead standing we can see from the back deck. Now I will have to go at least 80 yards down the trail to cut.
Lookin good. Love the rig! Inspiring me to build some tool holders and get to working on my new yard trailer.
Thanks guys the trailer was my Dad's he made it years ago (30-40) and I grabbed it after he passed. I added the tool holders and a back gate. It's not the best looking trailer but it works for holing wood and yard debris. And I feel my Dad at my side as I work. that's the best part.
We are in Fairhaven I bought 22+ acres and built us a nice little place 700' off the road to retire in. Are you close by?
Nice! I had intentions of getting up early this morning and stacking some wood but after passing out on the couch last night and waking up at 4 am before trudging off to bed, I ended up sleeping in til almost 9:30...which is UNHEARD of for me. Now we have a family Christmas GTG were going to so I don't think I'll be able to work any wood until after Christmas....
Winter cutting? Don't make me laugh! I had to enlarge your last pic in hopes that the white on the driveway was snow...nope! At any rate, good way to spend the morning!
No not snow we have been lucky nothing yet. That is my quahog shell drive way. Here's a over head view.
