    Forgive me brothers and sisters for I have sinned. It has been over two years since I let my pellet burning appliance run out of pellets.

    We were gone for a few hours and came home to a cool-ish house. Went downstairs and the furnace is room temp and the number 2 LED is flashing.

    Of course I suspect the worse, but the auger motor ran manually with the manual feed button on the control board. Opened the hopper and there was my answer. :doh:

    For shame 343...I sentence you to three months of compulsively checking the hopper for pellets, and your wife continuously reminding you of the one time you screwed up. :p:doh:

    My wife didn't even mention anything about the house being cold. We'd just gotten back from my moms house, and she keeps the thermostat nailed at 63, so our house at 65 didn't feel too bad. I knew something wasn't quite right.

    I dumped 5 bags into the hopper. I could cram number 6 in there but don't feel like going back outside to bring in more bags.

    At least it wasn't too cold today.

    They check for that in eastern mt,on and off,a good long cold snap puts a lot of them away.Also if you end up with a "gamey" animal just leave it in freezer for a year.

    I just got done pulling apart two 9lb pork shoulder blade roasts that I smoked for 12 hours. Pork taco rations in the freezer for two months to come!

    i'm one of 8 people on my floor it seems.

    they used a vacation day for this?????? :)
