    I got some mushrooms and onions on the cast iron and some sweet Italian sausages taking a beer bath in some coffeehouse stout they will be finished in the cast iron too.

    Good idea using beer. Thats something i always forget to do....... cooking with it!

    I did a 50/50 beer water bath let them simmer at almost a boil that helps them to cook faster and prevents burning when you throw them on the grill or in the pan.

    Ironic. We had sweet and hot Italians sausages with red & yellow peppers, onions, and cremini mushrooms sautéed in olive oil last night. The beer, we drank. It was awesome.
