I was at my brothers today for a while watching a professional tree crew take down 3 large oaks. The crew leader had a MS 362c that was absolutely sweet. I am not around larger saws too much, so I was very impressed with that thing. It was a screamer.

Nice saw to have, a little jealous here. It made the 025 look like a toy.

The bigger older saws have a definite bark that is quite neat to hear. when Campinspecter ran the big saw, you could hear it a long way off.

I wondered what was going on with the site today. I checked in a couple times and it seems slow or unresponsive. However, the lady kept me busy today. We went driving around the country side looking for houses for sale. While I was out, I met with another saw guy and traded bars, so the day wasn't a total waste. Tomorrow, I'm hopeful to get out in the woods and cut some chit!

Yesterday I dropped a few Ash, a Spruce, and a couple dead Pine. Blocked them all up after liming them. The thinning of the woods is going to really get started this year.:saw: Going out today too. Oh how vacation is nice.:saw:

So far the days revolved around fire for one reason or another. Fired up the neighbors smoke house around 7 then came home and lit off a pile of branches and now loading the stove and making coffee.

No snow down there? Good time to burn your branches... :fire: I think we're going to lose all of what little snow we have on Christmas eve... pouring rain... :headbang: At least it doesn't look as tho it'll turn into ice too, so maybe fewer road accidents.

I'd be happy just to even see the sun. It has been cloudy for over a week, if not longer.

Well we got a late start but my son and I cut some wood from 10-12 this morning. I'll be back at it from 1:30-4:00 this afternoon. I take long lunch breaks when I'm on vacation. :D

(Hopefully that doesn't turn into a nappy wappy):picard:
