I didn't leave the house until almost 10:00. I thought it was cold out there but was pleasantly surprised to find it really nice. But therein lies the problem. I would cut a little then every time I shut the saw off and removed the ear protectors, I had to just stand there, or better yet, sit on the atv and soak up this beautiful day.

It was sunny, no wind and a high temperature of 29. And absolutely gorgeous day to be in the woods. I hope tomorrow is a repeat. If I think about it, I'll try to remember to take the camera with me too.

Love the time sitting in the wood, soaking it all up

Gotta stop and appreciate your surroundings every once in a while

That's one downside to getting log loads dumped in my yard. No time spent out in the woods. My front yard isn't quite the same

Dennis, take your time and savor the good moments. Life is not a race. The person that finishes first is only first to be dead!:p

Sounds like a great day indeed Sav. I would love to be out tomorrow but just too much to do to get ready for the Christmas beast (feast). Maybe I can at least get out early and take a walk to look at future firewood, we'll see. Enjoy your day if you do make it out and by all means we need pictures.
