Wish I could answer that, I expected it over a week ago. It's been payed for and I should have it but it's not here yet.
Things like this are why I don't want to take money from members up front. As soon as I have them we will open up the orders for them.

I'm just bein impatient and OCD. I'm just one of the mutant special order sizes and have a tough time finding stuff that fits let alone a FHC special order mutant size hoodie. I am hoping to wear it for the dreaded family disfunkshun on Christmas so I can be kinda closer to my happy place here instead of surrounded by people who treat me less like family than the great people here at the FHC.

I did get to talk to the manufacturing company today. I hadn't heard back and was worried that the packages were lost. They said they were a little behind but should ship today or tomorrow at the latest. Since I had been expecting the order for the last week I had held up on sending a few shirt orders out as I wanted to send them all at the same time. So I am shipping out about 5 orders for shirts today. the rest of the stuff should be in my hands this week (fingers crossed) and Grizz can get the store opened up and we can send out hoodies! I want one too, seems like I keep running out of hoodies these days.

Thank you again Sean!!! All of the crazy amounts of time you and the other mods put into this website called the Firewood Hoarders Club is a perfect match to the folks that are members here. Everybody is nuts... :loco:  ... :D and that's what makes the site so much fun. It doesn't go un-noticed however, that in order for all of us to enjoy FHC, you're taking time away from family, work and just enjoying your own fire time... all for a for-fun, not-for-profit website and it's members.
    Very much appreciated...

Ok so I was told monday that the sweatshirts and shirts would be shipped that day. I still don't have them and now I'm pizzed. I called and emailed and finally got a call back today. The sales lady said she will be in the office later today but is on the road now. She did call from a different number so she is probably telling the truth. But since she was gone she didn't know what was going on. I told her that when she gets back I want a picture to prove the entire order is printed or shipped or I want my money back. This is ridiculous. I spent $2300 on the order and it was supposed to be printed on the 5th. And I still don't have it. After this order I am taking the business elsewhere, this is not good business. I understand things can happen but if you promised a product to go out and it didn't you should at least call the client and explain, that didn't happen.

This is an example of the problem with small businesses. You have to be aware when you can take on more work. If you cannot, you owe it to the customer to let them know. Much better than having negative press or internet reviews.

I think thats all swags is saying.

He and us would not be as upset if they just told him something like hey were running behind due to staffing issues at the holiday season or a surge in end of year orders etc.

    I know I would understand.

I agree...they dropped the ball. Wonder why they accepted the order though in the first place. Probably shouldn't have.

I feel bad for you Sean. Reality these days is too many companies are trying to do more work with less employees... and, when it gets into the crazy Christmas times... those companies get caught making promises they can't keep, but also can't afford to lose the work either. Might be why they're less than open about when the order will show up. I'm sure you know, you're doing all you can to get em done... and we all know it too... Hang in there... here, use my post... :headbang:... :D

Who knows? Like swags said they lost him as a future customer though so the extra order didnt help them in the long run.

Once this debacle is settled I do hope you will let us know who this is so in the future we do not send other business their way if should we want hunting club-family reunion-church group shirts made ect.

And they should have realised this too-- we are repeat customers, this was a fairly easy job for them considering how much trouble we had adapting the artwork to their needs for the first order. Seems backwards-- quick service on a tough job, ignore the easy job.

It sounds like they have other priorities, don't realize the importance of making sure this is done, or don't really care all that much. Sometimes, companies look at their own situation more than what the customer expects. It could be any number of things, but sales needs to reach out and ask for extra time before you call them looking for the order.
