This is funny that you bring this up. I was toying with the idea of adding another pellet storage shed earlier this year. My dilemma is the best spots have my septic lines running through it or my dry well. I am a little concerned that the weight will cause an issue. I have no idea if it will or not.....your quote made me think of it again.
Using that example you are basically saying that all pellets are the same....and as most people that have burnt pellets for more than one season probably knows better... As my late father used to say..."If you want clean fresh oats, you have to pay a fair market price, but if you will settle for oats that have already been thru the horse....then they come a little cheaper"..... ....If I go to buy shoes and all they have is a size 8 and I'm a size 10...they have a shortage......cause I'm not buying the size 8 just cause they have 43 pairs of them.....
With the mild weather so far and oil prices coming down ,,, inventory pressures have receded a bit in some areas. Give it time and supplies will be down again if real winter weather kicks in. Prices for low grade logs for pallet, rail tie, and crane mat manufacture are still at all time highs taking away potential feedstock to pellet mills.Wet weather since early Nov has shut in most logging operations. Mill decks east of the Mississippi river are at all time lows. Its gonna get uglier before it gets better.
Well the next door neighbor is letting his horses run over one of his septic leach fields and so far so good. You need to talk to someone who designs those systems. I keep stuff away from mine.
Who brings shoe size into a pellet discussion??? Ludicrous!! Well pellets can be different but a few of these brands are the same under different names as we all know dealers may not have them but boxes may....do you know anything about pellets that are the same under another name?? Hmmmm??
Yeah, I figure it's not a good idea and I probably wouldn't get a guarantee anyway. May have to do some landscaping to open up an area.....
This might get you in the correct direction but basically the answer is don't do it. http://inspectapedia.com/septic/Dont_Drive_On_Septics.htm
You started it by bringing up milk as your example in this.... If you want to start a thread about different things produced that are the same with different names or brands ...that list is very very very very long and I'm not just talking about wood pellets...but that is a whole difference conversation.....so back on track SparkyPain...
