    Storm blew through an hour ago not to bad, about 40mph winds, looks like it was worse north of me .
    I don't even have a fire, to warm
    Wow ! some tornados tearing things up some places, by Chicago Hope every one is doing OK
    How are you guys doing in the upper part of the mitten ???

    Good to go Bogy...I always keep 2 fives of gas with stabilizer and the date marked on top. No need for camp stove, have nat gas stove just have to light with a match if I don't hook up the genny.

    Just started the fire back up. Hadn't really intended to burn tonight because it's 60 outside but it make the wife and I feel better just in case.

    Nothing going on here as yet. We have our camp stove and fuel in the glass porch should we need it.
    Look like what we are going to have is severe storms Monday AM. But not looking for anything like those in the Michigan area. Hope everyone is safe.

    According to the weather channel, we should have our first part of the storm come through around 12:30 am.

    Although we will get some t storms and 40mph winds, it looks as though the worst of it will stick to the interior northeast. Stay safe guys

    It is blowing here pretty good with gusts that shake and creak the house. Reminds me of that haunting Gordon Lightfoot song about the Edmund Fitzgerald. "It was the winds of November come steelin' "

    NY is going to get it in the form rain with thunderstorms likely. No mention of tornadoes...yet. Yes, they do happen in NY. Our house got hit in '89.

    We got one of the NOAA radios, so it alarms us when there are threatening weather alerts. They are a good thing to have.
