    Our house is the opposite. Wife is going through menopause with hot flashes at night. I have to sneak out after she falls asleep to set the thermostat up from 56* to 58-59* on the oil burning furnace. If I were to burn a wood stove, I'd be out on the street in no time. BTW, she's totally ok with me or her talking about this. It's totally natural.

    MM, Same here...... I loaded the stove before dinner not thinking the oven would be on for an hour. Well, its 85°F in here, same griping, different wife!:rofl: :lol:
