I have one problem with this. If I am going to spend that kind of money I don't want to wait until next August. There has to be some kind of F.H.C. can I cut in line thing-a-ma-bobber?! Right? :D

Ha! Yeah - if I was going to pay the price to play, I'd want it NOW! But, good work takes time! Cheers!

Rome was not build in a day, greatness takes time,, the longer you wait to get in line, the longer it will be before it's done. Grab a spot now, time fly's!!

Mastermind. I was once in a little place called Mickie, TN.? About 45 minutes from Memphis I guess. Little place. Where are you in relation to that? I remember it took me about 17 - 19 hours to Nashville, Knoxville going down 81 South. Man was I tired from up by the Canadian border. I had to pull over for a good power nap before I got to my buddies place down there.

One thing about Randy's work..... you could send a saw to him and have him take it apart and put it back together with no porting or machine work and you'd likely have a better saw. He will not sell a saw that isn't up to snuff. The work he does is very much evident in the saws he built for me. I have complete faith that they will last and last until I tear them up. I'll likely send all of my saws to him. I like them that much. They are extremely user friendly because they have so much grunt. They just hold rpm better than you could imagine without trying one.

One of the things I like about your work Randy is that it's so damm consistent. Numa's 261 ran every bit as good as mine, Dex's 441 and mine were mere tenths of a second apart on the same wood.

Randy, What's your thoughts on a regular 261 vs a 550xp after porting. Which one would you prefer with 3/8 chain? I have leads on a 261 non Mtronic if its still available after payday.

Agree 100% Cory. I love being able to throw around my little 261c limbing, then getting to the main trunk of a good sized hardwood tree. Make sure the chain is sharp and all and let the saw sing. Fun as hell in my book.
