    Husqvarna 550XP Chaninsaw NEW! 20"Bar - $325 (North Pittsburgh)

This saw is brand new assembled and never used. It is a professional series saw(commercial grade). This saw retails for approx. $550.00. This is a great deal if you know anything about chain saws. Makes a great gift for Christmas! My ex purchased it for personal use at our camp but was injured in a non-related incident and is unable to use the saw now. The price is $325.00 or best offer.

Hope your wife is ok. That saw should be gone by the end of today. Good deal.

This isn't my saw, just one that popped up on CL in my area. I toyed with the idea of getting it just because I've never tried an AT saw, but I don't really need it.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that one. I actually texted back and for with the seller just before posting this, while agonizing over whether to buy it. She said they didn't have the packaging or paperwork anymore and that they'd bought it in January.

I'm no good at that sort of lowballing. If the price is good to begin with, I just can't bring myself ask the seller to lower it even further. If it's not good to begin with, then we're probably not even talking.

We call it haggling and sometimes you pay the asking price too.. Yard sales, car deals, CL are all haggling arenas to me.. Today I paid $30.00 for my Christmas tree and the tag said $40.00.. LOL my daughter said I could never do that.. I do it every year.. To me it's part of the fun..

See, I'd be more comfortable haggling with a business person, because retail sticker prices always look inflated to me and I figure the shop keeper can probably take care of himself. Private individuals, I'm sometimes not so sure... in fact in once case I actually paid more than the asking price for a saw just to ease my conscience.

I normally only haggle a little. But when they put OBO? I always go lower :)

$275 would be a killer price. A manual and paperwork wouldn't stop me from buying it.

I'd let it go to dgb84 before I tried to buy it. But that is a very enticing price.

When is the next time you will be this way Jon?

dgb84 pm'd me and I'm probably buying the saw for him tomorrow. That said, I'll be in Cleveland around Christmas but I'm not sure whether we'll get over to the west side on that trip.
