Made it to the break point, now have enough for 17/18 stacked. (6-1/2 cord)
The rest will be a buffer (about 3/4 cord left to split & stack ) (not counting
the misfits, uglies & punkies pile )

Sunrise over the mountains this am. cloudy 28°.

It's not even fair - IF I could even get my stacks looking that good, they'd never have mountain ranges in the background! :binoculars: :ithappened::thumbs:

Close to 64' now, about a cord left to split.
Should be near 8 cords, counting the pile of uglies, misfits & punkies,
    when all said & done.

As occasionally happens, we were lower temperature than you this morning at 19, but our daytime high may end up higher than yours.

Longer sun & a better sun angle there.
Be below 8 hours of sun in a few days, with very little solar heat.

    Only in October :)
Some years it takes longer & I have to wait for Spring, (due to snow )
April/May to get back to the firewood area to get the last of the 7 - 8 cord.

This year I was the first into a new opened area, cherry picking the trees
I dropped. Wont' be like that next year.
Was fun to be a wood snob though LOL :)
