    Had our first family get together at the camp tonight for dinner. Crock pot foods and fresh Italian bread from the bakery. Wife made French Onion soup, there was Italian meatballs, sweet and sour meatballs, chicken chilly, chips and guacamole dip, and a sweet dessert with cherries, chocolate, brownies, and whip cream. (Oh, forgot about the veggies and dip. Always have to have them.) We also had a nice bonfire out back. Had a decent turnout and it was a good time.

    No my wife's grandmother passed away at 90 on Tuesday night from a stroke. :( For being a stubborn lady she was a good honest woman. I was moving boxes to her house so the family could go through and pack up everything.

    Wait a minute I don't live in a dump :p

    Hopefully it will make its way down here. The weatherman was skeptical if it will come down this far or not. I'm ready to get this wind out of here. It's been blustery the last couple of days.

    Sorry to hear about your loss. It really hurts to have a family member die. A piece of family history passes on and hopefully the stories she told and the information she passed on will remain with the family. When you really think about it, the changes she saw from when she was a little girl in the 1920s until today would be so hard to explain to our young people today.

    Tearing up the up stairs bedroom. Going to insulate, rewire, and resheetrock for the boy new room. Day 2 on this project....

    But it looks like my neighbors got his bobcat out over here. A Mulberry tree will be calling before long.

    Unloading and uncrating and installing the Beta Ideal Steel Woodstock stove today. Uninstalling, loading up and delivering my Fireview to my younger brother's house 45 miles away. Then Sunday dinner with family at my parents.

    Sounds like some good projects going on guys.

    Today I am relaxing a little, and cutting a Maple I took down next to the camp that was to close to power line. Finally got a day when it's not rai.... Oh wtf? It's raining. LOL


    I've been in and out twice now. Rain, stop. Go. Rain, stop.

    About 3/4 of it done now.
