Mopar, What an awesome thing to do!!! this spring I will be scrapping 3 old cars. 2 '64 880 royales and 1 '70 newport. All have 383/727 eng/trans Cars are pretty crusty but all there. Typical rust belt rot. The newport MIGHT have a dana 60 I have to check. If it does, I can't give that away but anything else on those cars parts wise is yours, just let me know what you'd like. You get first crack then I'm fine with other members requesting stuff just send a message with needs. Remember these have been sitting outside for over 30 years so keep that in mind. Of course I can't ship the heavy stuff you'd have to pay me a visit ( west central Michigan) Just hate to see these get crushed if someone needs a correct part for a restoration!!
For the first correct answer to my rock and roll Christmas trivia question, I have an unopened pint of Castor 927 2 cycle oil. I will ship my dime. What did Brian Johnson ask Santa for on this 1990 AC/DC hit from the album The Razor's Edge?
Way to go you old rocker!! Careful who's around when you sing it. Skippysphins PM me your info and I'll send your pressie out tomorrow!
WOW !! Thanks ! I would love the 8.75 from the Newport, and the big block bolt pattern tranny. With the 383 I have never seen the Dana. However with 4 young-uns I dont think the wife would like me making such a long roadtrip. That corporate rear end will have a 489 nodular ham ........ Gold to me !!!!
There yours just have to figure out logistics, We'll work something out. Anything is possible with a little creative thinking
Thanks ............... See how you do parting them out, I have been saving for the MS661 and all of my pennies that havent been spent on the house, or gifts for the little ones are going towards that. If you lived a few hours drive, I would be there helping you tear them down !! Appreciate the very generous offer, but it is just too far to ship such heavy items. Way too many projects have locked down my finances including this
Well, I haven't yet amassed enough chainsaw stuff to need to give some away, but..... Anyone with the old style RotoZip saw want a wheel cutting/grinding attachment? It's a ZM3 Mate with Chuck for it. Attaches to a ZM20 (or similar) type rotozip saw. Used, and doesn't look as good as it does in the pic, but works fine. First taker gets it. I'll pay shipping, you buy the beer when you use it!
Nice digs mister!!!! Looks like a dream come true. Too bad you're so far away, dang it again! If anyone has any ideas about how to get mopar the trans and rear end that is budget friendly, let me know. Other members, if you need something off one of those old cars just let me know. Probably won't get to them until the winter is over but if somebody needs something small and easy I could get it sooner, no problem.
The fact that you knew the answer, wanted the oil but still didn't respond tells me all I need to know about you brother. Merry Christmas to you as well, let us know what you think about that fancee awl And as for jrsdws, that dude is such a good guy that if him and I were on a plane that was going down and there was only one parachute, I'd miss him terribly and think of him every single day
That reminds me, I was once on a plane that both engines failed and we were going down! The guy in the seat next to me was scared to death and asked "Hey, where they hell are we going to land?" For which I quickly answered: Right at the scene of the crash!!
I have a set of tire chains that would fit back tires on a small garden tractor.I bought set of 4 for a 4 wheeler I have. They would only fit the front tires on it.They have never been used.Let me know who can use them first one gets it.
