That's pretty wild, never knew they used helicopters to move Christmas trees. I've unloaded more than a few semi's loaded with bundled trees - lifting 750+ trees in a couple hours makes your forearms kind of seize up
I once had Popeye forearms and shoulders rivaling the Hulk - worked all day like a rented mule on the farm...It was a fun experience though
Skill level is amazing... decision to hot dog like that? ... More than a few things coulda ruined his "show"... quick, not to mention whoever was quick attaching the loads. Musta been young. Those must be expensive trees to cover equipment like that, not to mention the fuel he must be burning hot dogging like that. I'll say he's got some skills flying.
Yeah, its nuts. That was filmed in 2010. Every year at Christmas it comes up on my R/C heli forum, guys goo oooo and then somebody remembers we saw it last year. Ive seen that one before as well. Sadly the story I heard was that pilot eventually made a slip up and suffered a fatal crash.
The guy hot doggin' down in the trees on the second vid almost was flying like he wanted to snag a blade on some of those turns close to the ground. Not surprised he bent the copter a little.
