    Have watched most of those over the last few years. He was amazing. Really like the wood hinges he made for the double doors.

    I remember PBS used to show one of those every fund drive. I always enjoyed it.

    There are several DVD's involving duck and his amazing journey to carve a living at that remote lake. I'm envious of him, and the dream he made come true. I've watched all the movies several times.....

    I've said that too. I'm in awe of what he did and that he could stay there in the isolation as long as he did. No way I could handle just that part, even when I was younger.

    My wife and I watched both of them a couple years ago, and she bought me the book.

    Agreed, amazing man, especially considering he did this all - basically an entire second lifetime, after retiring from a long career.

    I also would have gone insane just from the isolation.
