I just burn whatever is stacked on top it doesn't matter much to me. But in a perfect world it would probably be in the teens for me, so that's my vote.

For me its single digits before I have to dump in the high test.

The beast spoiled us as it used to be high test once it got below freezing. And the wood eater was fired in the cold spells to assist. The wood eater barely gets used these days, Just for power failures and document disposal.

I only have Somersets this year, other than a few bags of other stuff to try out. In other years, I'd switch from whatever I was burning to the Sets in the teens.

I'll break the seal on the Barefoots when the temp's are more regularly in the teens.

I just changed my vote from single digits to teens. I dumped a bag of Blazers in the stove last night when it was 12 and I knew it was going to go down to 5., which it was when I got up this morning.

That is pretty much how I roll ,I don't keep junk in my stash :). don't get me wrong I've burned a few bad ones Tree cycle , bad batch of Chit River's ,for the most part my stash has been what most folks here consider the better stuff.

    Set's
    Turman's
Hamer's and re bagged ones Clean Energy
    PTL's
    Lig's
    AWF's
    GT's
    Chow
    Greenway's
GAP's which worked for me a bit ashy for my man Steve ,but heat was good and price was

This is the 1st year that softwoods have made it to PA :drunk: the PTL's & the Heat'rs ( which have worked well for me) I'll save the PTL's for teen's and lower , only for the lower ash content don't want to shut the stove off in cold for a cleaning :( if I can help it :)

OK that's my story and I'm sticking to it

I polled 20's just cuz I'm a pellet newbie so what ever I get my hands on for decent pellets I'm going to experiment with. Expecting some LeCretes' shortly, my fingers are crossed as I type this.

I haven't burned a lot of them but a nice pellet. I have 55 in my stash but they'll stay there a while because I was able to get almost 4 tons of better stuff.
