    :confused: Are you guys talking about where the lace wood and walnut are laminated together ?
    It's just glued together , just like a butcher block top , for example
    Once you make a perfectly flat glue joint , clamp it up, let it dry , it will never crack apart , but you must start with kiln dried stock ,acclimated to the environment (the shop).
    Probably would crack apart if you left it outside in the elements :)
