He's afraid of the "Pellet Master" giving him a lecture about using old parts. :ups:

Whatever, by now I would have expected him to have permanently attached the old messed up one to the mount plate using stuper glue or the welding rig in his playroom and saying good enough for the pellet roaster.

I love this forum. We've officially done away with "regular" time measurement, and relate everything to how long it will take in Beer drinking time.

Well I did get the bushing in last night. I waited until the stove cycled to low at 8:30 ish PM. Popped a brew(timer start) and went at it. Before I got have way through the second brew it was pumping heat and purring away.

I'll drop the motor and change out the setscrew once it comes in. Shouldn't take but a few minutes.

Anyone time this event with a watch? We might want to know how long it takes in case our rigs decide to have the same "issue". After all stoves seem to gang up on their owners, it is almost like they message each other.

    Jay did....it's a "2-brew" job.

Remember, we've switched from regular time to "brew time" on this forum. He just forgot to label his post correctly....it should have included ":like::like:"

I fixed your phrasing of that:
    "Shouldn't take but :like:"

We'll Pete pretty much nailed it. One beer before I started(waiting for the stove to idle down so I knew the house was at temp). Took a few sips off the next one while I mulled over the plan of attack. Scooped out the hopper(half a bag 's worth). Took another sip or 2 and vacuumed the rest of the contents. Pulled the motor took another sip. Pulled the bolts out of the palte and Dropped the auger out. Pressed out the bearing and pressed in the new one. Grabbed a sip on the way by Put some copper never seize on both ends of the auger shaft. Slide it in and bolted up the plate. Installed the motor. Wire it and plugged the stove back in. fired it up and grabbed the the bottle(notice it had half its contents AKA stopping the timer). Sat down and had the rest with a smoke while the stove kicked back in to duty. Slide the switch to hi/lo. Finished the brew and headed to bed!

Thinking about this and typing it took approximately 2 brews! Either I work slow or drink fast!! ;)
