Yes you should have. Once Arboristsite is running again, there is one in the trading post you might be able to get for close to that price

Never joined there. I just go there to lurk when I search chainsaw info. Been tempted for like 7 years or so. Maybe one day,?? Not so into the attitudes there. Like if its not a white handle even numbered pro stihl or an xp husky why did u buy it. Or the endless headstrong arguments on who is right over something.

 

The site is up but most of the AS links that Google finds are no longer valid, and of course the native AS search is nowhere near as good as Google so it's hard to find what you're looking for.

 

So, the guy didn't answer or return my call this morning, yet he refreshed the posting in the last hour or so

That's alright, I'm going to look at a nicer 261 tomorrow morning. Closer, too.

Darn near new MS261. This thing is super clean, popped on the second pull, perfect tune. Pulled the muffler and plug, and the cylinder is almost perfect. Very little wear on the rim, and the chain looks to have been sharpened only a couple of times. Made few cuts in some black walnut I have to process, and it rips. Now I gotta clean it back up and turn it over to its new owner .
I'm a little jealous. Okay, a lot.
