I'm pretty sure the tensioner is there. Remove the silver plate and take the tensioner to the hardware store and get an appropriate threaded screw. No need to order it.

I did actually clean it up after I took this picture. But I had to head to work so didn't have time to hook up the compressor. And at first I thought maybe it was some Husqvarna only screw, until I saw the lack of screw.

Welcome to the forums! Yes it's running just fine right now, carb adjustment and it fires right up and idles fine with plenty of torque, still having issues matching up the screw to the tensioner though, all be it I haven't had much time between work and cutting firewood.

You're welcome, great group of guys here. And the saw will soon be used a lot more than my Craftsman once I get everything in order, but I'm still working on my hoard. Going to probably buy another saw at the end of winter, funds provided.:D

The craftsman 52cc is the 20 inch bar they sell. It's not a great brand, and it isn't pretty but I never had a problem starting mine, even in the cold, rule is, take care of it and it will last a long time.

Thats the thing. Even the plastic poulans like the wild thing are a decent saw for what they are. With maintenance will last and work. Some are a bear to start but thats probably carb adjustment. They have horrible , read NO here, antivibe but there many of them and for what they cost heat many peoples homes

Oh Yea I forgot they made plastic yellow poulan. They also made some red ones.

I was thinking many said that 5020 was a good buy for what you got.

No, never have. I looked into it after hearing about them around the web, but the prices are way up from when everyone was getting them to play around with. Not a deal anymore

The 5020 was a great deal if you ask me. Got mine new for 180 from northern tool with a coupon and cut a good bit of firewood before I sold it. It never gave me any trouble starting or running, and cut all I asked of it
