    Man I really want to fill my 2nd tag for the season now that I'm coming across all these great venison recipes. Scrapple is my next item up on the "to make" list.

    ill have to ask my neighbors to try it. they butcher their own hogs and make scrapple.

    I knew when the thread said scrapple you would be an east coaster in my general area! Funny how regional foods can distinguish that

    A lot of people I know that grew up in PA like it. Most of the people I know from NJ hate it lol. They're always comparing it to pork roll, which I like also, but its totally different.

    That recipe does look good I was just surprised by scrapple with no offal. My wife might eat that.

    I agree! Though I like scrapple once in a while, the ingredients can be a put-off. And in Carroll County, a lot of the church breakfasts include "pudding" which is kind of like scrapple, only they don't fry it crisp. I ain't interested.
    This stuff looks like something right up my ally, I have everything in the freezer to try it!

    yea i'm definetly not a pudding fan. who uses what on their scrapple? syrup, honey, jelly????

    Hmmm...kind of like very finely ground pork, mixed with braunswieger and corn mush. But with a nice fried crust on the outside.
